Tandem dampers for FGD and DeNOx- Plants
Tandem dampers are employed for the gastight shut off of flue gas ducts .Compared with louver dampers they have a narrower face to face width and require fewer mechanical parts.(bearings, linkages etc. ) All types of actuators may be used to power them. In conjunction with special actuators units tandem dampers function as fast opening or closing emergency dampers.
The RAUMAG JANICH designed lattice supported blade also permits their use in high temperature applications without the risk of blade distortions.
Equipped with NICROFLEX – HIPERFORM seals and seal air injection a 100% gastight shut off (man safe ) is achieved.
